CAse Study: implementing MOBILITY MENTORING AT A CHild-welfare agency
As a core member of a pilot team, I co-lead the planning and implementation of Mobility Mentoring, an evidence based approach based on behavioral science, trauma informed principles at a unique child-welfare agency in Philadelphia.
Preliminaries is the first section of a book and is usually the smallest section in terms of pages.
Background
The said agency works with parents/caregivers that have at least one child in out of home placement. The agency is unique in the kinds of services it provides and who it serves.
The agency's leadership wanted to move away from the usual status quo of providing transactional case-management to a more transformational approach which would lead to lond term impact.
Mobility Mentoring We partnered with EmPath that founded the Mobility Mentoring approach. It is an evidence-informed service delivery system rooted in principles of brain science, and how poverty can impact our decision-making.

Challenge
Preliminaries is the first section of a book and is usually the smallest section in terms of pages.
Book design is the art of incorporating the content, style, format, design, and sequence of the various components of a book into a coherent whole. In the words of Jan Tschichold, "methods and rules upon which it is impossible to improve, have been developed over centuries. To produce perfect books, these rules have to be brought back to life and applied." Front matter, or preliminaries, is the first section of a book and is usually the smallest section in terms of the number of pages. Each page is counted, but no folio or page number is expressed or printed, on either display pages or blank pages.
