This design project was simple- how might I take this absolutely random
object like a pinwheel and create an attachment for it that fits on to a bicycle.
This was the perfect opportunity to explore and play with 3D printing as a material process.

process and deign features
Sketching and 3D modeling were an absolutely necessary part of not just ideation, but for also note-taking, conducting calculations and maintaining a trail of important changes and design decisions that came about. And while I played with 3D printed parts for the final iterations, some of the initial prototyping was carried out by using laser cut wood pieces to test connection points for tolerance values.
