This page highlights my storytelling work across animation, graphic design, comics, and report design. From collaborating with Sahiyo on impactful projects to designing engaging visuals, my focus is always on making stories meaningful and accessible.

Dear Maasi Animation Video

I teamed up with Sahiyo to create an animation for Dear Maasi, a platform where people can anonymously ask certified psychotherapists about sex, relationships, and how khatna (FGM/C) affects them.

Process & Collaboration

I worked closely with a copywriter, using my storytelling skills to take sensitive, complex topics and turn them into a visually engaging narrative. Together with Sahiyo and WeSpeakOut, we created something that invites open, honest conversations.

Industry Context

This project helps break down barriers in the healthcare and human rights sectors, giving space for conversations about sexual health and FGM/C—topics that are often kept in the shadows.

Tools & Software

I used Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, iMovie, and Figma to pull everything together, making sure the visuals worked seamlessly with the story we wanted to tell.

Scenarios By Sahiyo: Comic Project

‘Scenarios by Sahiyo’ is a series of comic strips I created that bring to life real stories from activists and allies working to end female genital cutting (FGC). The project highlights those tough, personal conversations that can lead to powerful shifts in perspective, all while supporting Sahiyo’s mission to empower South Asian communities through storytelling.
